Sleepeasy Solution Methodwith Jill Spivack and Jen Waldburger

"Since becoming a mom, there is no parenting resource that I recommend more highly - or more regularly - than The Sleepeasy Solution." - Lisa Pierson Weinberger, Owner of Mom, Esq

Discover what thousands of thrilled parents already have. If your baby isn't sleeping through the night, you are not alone... and we can help! For the first time ever, the bestselling Sleepeasy Solution is now available as an online video course. Designed for parents of babies 4 to 18 months, our recipe for successful sleep learning - meaning that children learn to sleep quickly with a minimum of crying - contains two important ingredients:

1. A simple, customized sleep plan that includes step-by-step instructions for scheduling, environmental changes, and helping children change their sleep behavior, and

2. Plenty of support around the emotional aspects of teaching a child to sleep (and some inevitable frustration), to help children continue to feel loved, and to help parents remain consistent as their child learns. Parents who use our methods usually report that their child begins to sleep through the night in less than five nights, because the child receives clear, consistent responses that shape behavior quickly, and because she feels your loving encouragement while she learns. In a matter of days, children learn that they don't need assistance from their parentsùwith a bit of practice they become expert sleepers, and the whole family finally begins to get the rest they need. In specific detail, Jill & Jen walk parents through the steps to:

*Create a good schedule
*Set up a proper sleep environment
*Build a bedtime routine
*Reduce or eliminate night feedings
*Help your baby learn to self-soothe throughout the night.

Handouts include a 30-page workbook that includes your sleep plan, sample schedules for children of all ages and tips for how to keep sleep on track as your child grows. This course also features a special section on how to prevent SIDS.

Jill, Jennifer and The Sleepeasy Solution have been featured in a variety of media including: Good Morning America, The Today Show, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, CBS Evening News with Dan Rather, The Chicago Tribune, Parenting, Fit Pregnancy, and The Tyra Banks Show. They are the sleep experts on ModernMom.com and conduct lectures on children’s sleep for doctors and medical professionals at UCLA and at pediatric practices.

This course basically saved our lives. We were having a ton of trouble with our 6 month old girl and getting NO SLEEP. The Sleepeasy Solution came highly recommended from friends (google it and you'll see the reviews of their book) and when I saw they were offering an online version I decided to try it out. SO thrilled that I did. Jill & Jen lay out a very clear, detailed method for sleep training that, while regimented, is also very gentle and loving. And the best part? It works - she's sleeping!!! And so are we! Thank you Jill & Jen!!

Amazing!! I'm from Australia and Sleep School is a popular thing to do there if you're struggling with your baby's sleep. You check in for a few days and they work with you to help fix your sleep problems. Now that we live in California I couldn't find anything similar to help with my 11 month old's sleep issues, and was too scared to try any sort of sleep training method alone (I'm a big softie and would have caved). I was considering getting someone to come out to my home for hundreds of dollars. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this lecture series. It helped me realize that I did need to give my baby time and space to learn to sleep on her own. That I couldn't keep doing all the work for her. It also gave a very good step by step plan that was easy to follow (unlike some of the sleep books which can be so confusing). It literally started working the first night. After day 3, she cried for about 2 minutes when I put her down and that was that. Slept all through the night. Incredible. Thanks!!!

Using the Sleepeasy Solution method to help our son learn to sleep was literally life changing. He was one of the most challenging babies when it came to sleep and my husband and I were beyond exhausted. The book gave us an incredible amount of support and knowledge -- and in two days he was sleeping through the night and taking amazing naps! Three years later he is among the best sleepers of his peers, and this method remains one of our favorite go to items of all time. Since becoming a mom, there is no parenting resource that I recommend more highly - or more regularly - than The Sleepeasy Solution.

My baby was very underweight which meant that sleep training happened much later for us and was a little more complicated. Following the Sleepeasy Solution methods and creating a comprehensive sleep training and feeding plan was vital to my baby's sleep success and weight gain. The creators of this program understandthat sleep success depends on so many factors and they strive to address all facets of your baby's day in order for your baby to reach her sleeping potential. Thanks, Jill, Jennifer and the Sleepeasy Solution!

I am a very organized and scheduled person, so when it came time to sleep train my first child, I knew I would need guidance that I could understand and adhere too. After being introduced to the Sleepeasy Solution methodology, I quickly discovered that this sleep guidance fit perfectly with my personality. The methods are clear, simple and easy to follow and are most importantly, results driven. Both of my boys were "sleep trained" within days and thrived under the schedule we had put together. For all of these reasons, I would highly recommend Jill & Jen and their Sleepeasy class. You and your baby won't be sorry!

I had reached my wits end when I finally discovered the Sleepeasy Solution, it changed my life! Our baby went from waking up every hour to sleeping through the night in literally 48 hours, and what I thought would be a very painful experience was made incredibly manageable (and, extremely rewarding) by the concepts of this method. I can say, without hesitation, that the Sleepeasy Solution was one of the most impactful things I did for my child (and for my relationship with my husband!).

The Sleepeasy Solution method gives parents a great tool to guide you through, what can be, a very scary process. With every new developmental change, my daughter's sleep patterns changed and this method gave us confidence to help deal with changes.

We are on night 2 of the Sleep Easy Method for our second child. While its difficult, every cry reminds us that he will have the most amazing sleep habits like our oldest son, who did Sleep Easy in 4 days. The benefits of this method infinitely outweigh a few tough nights.

Using the Sleep Easy Solution changed my life! I am a mother of 3 and once my babies were ready to be sleep trained I followed the Sleep Easy Solution and it worked like a charm. On the first night, the longest my daughter cried on and off with scheduled check-ins was 26 minutes. I was so nervous because I knew I had to be consistant if it was going to work. The second night, my daughter was sleeping from 7 to 6AM. The Sleep Easy Solution methods helped everyone in my family get a better nights rest.

The Sleepeasy solution was the best gift we ever gave our daughter and ourselves! She has slept straight through between 11 and 13 hrs a night since and we have a happier, healthier daughter. The sleep deprivation is over!! I was nervous to do it and waited until she was 10 months old. It was so much easier than we anticipated and we only wish we had done it sooner.

My son just turned a year old and my husband and I have never done any type of sleep training. I always nursed him to sleep and/or rocked him. I was very worried how well he would do trying this method and honestly, I kept putting it off. Yesterday I decided to finally start. I was sure he would scream uncontrollably and that I'd have to set a timer to go in and check on him. We did our routine and I laid him down. He cried for less than 10 minutes, I didn't even get to check on him before he was asleep! This course works! I highly recommend it!

I can't thank you enough for having this course. My son is 14months old and we have co-slept/Breastfed the whole time. I saw your ad last Friday on Facebook and I signed up and I am happy to say my son is sleeping on his own through the night with 2 naps a day. Y'all are incredible. I can sleep comfortably finally. I am also expecting my 2nd child in March so getting my son out of my bed was a Must. Thank you!

Amazing! This course gave me the confidence to get the job done. It took us four nights and we have all been getting a great nights sleep ever since. My son wakes up happy every morning and from every nap. We never had to sleep train for naps, he goes down easy and sleeps anywhere from 1-2 hours now. I recommend this course to all my mom friends!

Just wanted to send a big, giant, HUGE thank you!!! My daughter is 10 months old and has only ever been nursed to sleep for all naps and bedtime..she was swaddled up until 5 months and breaking that was not bad at all... she had gone through bouts of sleeping through the night, waking once, waking several times, back and forth for months at a time each. well recently she was waking up several times a night....I had to nurse her back to sleep every time. Also, my husband has NEVER been able to put her down or get up with her in the middle of the night because she would freak with him and want the boob. I started the sleep easy solutions method last weds and WOW! night one wasn't bad at all, just did one 7 min check in (she's stubborn, five mins would have been too soon)...after that no more checkins since she didn't cry "cry" just the on and off or whimpering/whining. I goofed the dream feeding (I forgot to do it every other night so I am doing it now every night til weds) I missed my alarm one night and the next I didn't hear it and those nights she woke up at 4 am but I let her whine/cry and she fell back to sleep within 15 mins... I hope I can effectively wean down that one night time waking we'll see.... ANYWAY...just wanted to say a million thank you'd...the method works BEAUTIFULLY!!! I have recommended this to friends and three others bought the video courses and have started sleep training too. THANKS!!!! she goes down without a peep now other than talking to herself! yes!!! I'm so so happy with the gentle approach it takes and the comfort it has further built between my daughter and her father..she snuggles with him now at bed time and lets him give her the bottle...it really is the best!!

This course is fantastic! The information is framed in a way that helped me put things into perspective - "This isn't your new parenting style. It is just a short-term solution to a long-term problem." My son responded VERY well within the first 2 nights, which was as much a surprise to us as it was to him! We are now working on naps, which have proven to be more challenging, but we have the confidence that he will figure it out since sleep is a skill he has already been practicing! Thank you to Jill and Jen!!!

Just wanted to let you know how thankful I am for your site and courses. My little one was a great sleeper until we starting teething at 8months and from then until 11 months he was up 3-4 times per night. In addition we had a bedtime routine that was not helpful, he was nursed to sleep and then placed gently into bed already asleep for me to make my escape! I watched your sleep solutions video and put it into motion November 2nd, 2013 (he was over a year old) and by November 5th, he was sleeping 10-11hours nonstop!!! The first night was 12min of crying (which seemed like forever but I made notes and stood in the kitchen painfully watching the clock), night two was 7 min and by night 3 he was down within 3min!!!!! He now knows the routine and goes down without any issues but more importantly sleeps until WE WAKE HIM UP! Thanks a million.

Last night I started the sleep training with my 12 month old. I was pretty certain my super stubborn little girl would take longer than average to catch on. Tonight, as her second night it only took her 10 minutes of whining (not crying!) to fall asleep! I tried "crying it out" once before with her but wasn't prepared and found myself getting frustrated with her not falling asleep. This time I was so much more relaxed and helpful to her because I knew exactly what to expect and how to handle each scenerio. I wanted to say Thank You for putting together such a great program!

We're now going to talk about the Sleep Solution Number 4. This is probably the biggest of all of them. They're all important, but this is the biggest. Associations, sleep associations that children have are the most common problem that we have as we're addressing sleep issues. Associations might mean that a baby needs to be bounced to sleep like this for half an hour before they go to sleep. It needs motion. It might mean the passy goes in, but it keeps coming out, and you keep running like a slave all night long putting it back in. I was there. I know it. It might be nursing or giving a bottle all the way until sleep, holding them, waiting until they're in a deep sleep, putting them down and praying, "Don't wake up!" Then they wake up. They're like, "Wait a minute. I caught you." There are a lot of different associations. Some people in our practice have these purple, fluffy bath mats that became an association for a slightly older child. We've had dads driving around at two o'clock in the morning for the motion, watching fish through the fish tank. Lots of things. You all know what your associations are. Basically, when a child needs an external association, like they need somebody externally to them to help them put themselves to sleep or back to sleep in the middle of the night, when they can't get up themselves and they have to signal "Help!", we have a sleep problem. The main difference between a child that is a "good sleeper" and a child that's having trouble sleeping is often, mainly, that the good sleeper will go in and out of deep and light phases of sleep like all children do. Three to five times a night they come up to a partial waking. The good sleeper will come up to a partial waking and go, "Oh, yeah, I'm in the same environment. Oh, there's my blankie. Goodnight," and they put themselves back to sleep. That's the good sleeper. The child who's having difficulty with sleep will go into a light phase of sleep at night and go like this, and go, "Uh oh, emergency!" (siren sound in background) We'll use the sound effects in the background. "Help! Fire! Fire!" They'll call. They'll signal for that parent or that caregiver to come back in and replicate the conditions upon which they fell asleep. If they were bounced to sleep like this, and you snuck them in their crib, ultimately later they're waking up and they're going, "Wait a minute. Where's my mommy? I'm not moving any more. I have no idea how to put myself to sleep. Help! I'm helpless." A huge focus in our program is going to be giving your children the opportunity to learn how to independently put themselves to sleep at bedtime and every time they go into lighter phases of sleep at night, put themselves back to sleep a hundred percent of the time.
